Editorial Process
The Annual International Conference on Islamic Education (AICONIE) applies the following review policy:
-
Authors are advised to conduct plagiarism checks and ensure their manuscript is free from copyright violations before submission.
-
Submitted manuscripts will undergo a review process by the editor, primarily to check their suitability with the journal's scope and template. During this stage, the editor may communicate with the author to determine whether the manuscript is suitable for reviewer evaluation or should be returned/declined.
-
Manuscripts that pass the initial screening will be sent to two reviewers for content evaluation using a blind review method.
-
The review process will consider factors such as novelty, objectivity, methodology, scientific impact, conclusions, and references.
-
Reviewers will provide suggestions for revisions and/or recommendations for acceptance or rejection of the manuscript.
-
The editor will make the final decision based on the reviewers’ recommendations on whether the manuscript meets the standards of the Annual International Conference on Islamic Education (AICONIE).
-
The Editor-in-Chief's decision is final.
-
The entire review process is conducted through the OJS (Open Journal System) online platform.
